Elisa Goettems received her PhD in Physics (2020-2024) from S ̃ao Paulo University, Brazil, under the supervision of Prof. Diogo de Oliveira Soares-Pinto and Daniel Valente.
Her PhD thesis focused on the theoretical description of both classical and quantum dissipative systems. In classical regime, it highlighted the reconciliation between nonlinear and bilinear models concerning the behavior of two Brownian particles.
Furthermore, in quantum dynamics, it explored the thermodynamics of a driven spin-boson model.
Interests: Open Quantum Systems, Quantum Thermodynamics, Nonequilibrium Physics.
