Talia obtained her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in fundamental Physics from the University of Lille.

Talia completed three internships during her studies, under the supervision of Dr. Philippe Verkerk, Dr. Alberto Amo, and Prof. Michiel Wouters. The two internships conducted during her Master’s degree focused on the simulation of a polariton laser in a one-dimensional lattice of polariton condensates and on the phenomenology of out-of-equilibrium polariton condensates in one-dimensional and two-dimensional lattices with special emphasis on the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang universality class and the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless topological phase transition. It is on this final subject that she wrote her Master’s thesis.
